About KVM School

Founding and Legacy

KVM School was founded by Shri Mukesh Arya in 1996. The school was named in honor of his grandmother, Smt. Kalawati Vyas, who was elected unanimously as a member of the Gram Panchayat Pai at that time. After the school's establishment, the Managing Society was formed in recognition of Smt. Kalawati’s elder son, Sh. Krishan Vyas (also known as Kanwal Haryanvi), an influential poet and writer from Haryana.

Shri Kanwal Haryanvi was honored with the prestigious 'Lakhmi Chand Award' by the Haryana Government for his remarkable prose and poetry work. His biography is taught in postgraduate literature classes at MDU Rohtak and KUK. Additionally, Ph.D. students conduct thesis research based on his biography. The school is dedicated to the legacy of his contributions to literature and society.

School Recognition and Growth

The school was officially registered in 1996 under Sr. No. 122 and is owned by the Kanwal Education Society. After providing valuable educational services, KVM School received permanent recognition from the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) in 2000. This marked the school as the first institution in Pai (Kaithal) to receive permanent recognition.

In the academic year 2003-04, the school expanded its offerings and gained recognition up to Senior Secondary level from HBSE, including all streams. Furthermore, in 2008-09, the school acquired a vast 3-acre area, allowing for significant infrastructure development and an enhanced learning environment.
